The Tattoo Artist – Eugene Pirie hails from South Africa and has travelled extensively learning about different cultures’ traditional tattoos and perfecting his art as a tattoo artist.
Eugene commenced his career in art as an Air Brush Designer – Artist for 5 years and then travelled overseas to Thailand to study the art of Tattooing.
In Thailand, Eugene not only learnt how to build his own tattoo machines, but also trained extensively on tattoo shading, cover ups styles and various other tattooing techniques.
With over 7 years experience, the appeal of tattooing for Eugene has always been the concept of permanently changing someone’s life and body via art and expression.
Eugene’s favourite tattoos are realism and portraits which is also one of the hardest and detailed tattoo styles around today.
Eugene’s experience as a tattoo artist contains tattoo sessions that have lasted over 7 hours and 1 tattoo took over 30 hours to complete.
Passion and the desire to change the perception of tattooing from labels to art work, inspires Eugene to constantly enhance his skills and allows him to genuinely love his career.
